Website and Distribution Terms

These terms describe use of ledgerpdf.com, LedgerPDF documentation, and official desktop builds distributed by Ledger Labs LLC. They do not replace or reduce your open-source rights.
The GPL controls the code
LedgerPDF source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or any later version (GPL-3.0-or-later). The license controls copying, modification, and distribution of the program. Nothing in these terms restricts a right the GPL grants you. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
“LedgerPDF,” its logos, and Ledger Labs LLC branding identify the project and official builds. The GPL licenses code, not permission to imply that a modified build is official, endorsed, or produced by Ledger Labs LLC.
Lawful, authorized use
Use LedgerPDF only with files and systems you are authorized to access and consistently with applicable law, professional obligations, client agreements, consents, and firm policy. You are responsible for protecting client information, supervising agents, verifying outputs, and maintaining appropriate backups.
No professional relationship
LedgerPDF is software, not accounting, tax, legal, investment, audit, assurance, or other professional advice or services. Using the site or software does not create a professional or fiduciary relationship with Ledger Labs LLC or a contributor. Review the Disclaimer.
Third parties and optional agents
Vercel and GitHub provide website, repository, and download hosting. Optional MCP clients and AI providers are separate services you choose and control. Their terms and privacy practices apply. Review Privacy & Data Practices before exposing a client folder or document to an agent.
Availability, updates, and support
LedgerPDF is alpha software. Features, formats, documentation, and distribution may change, and a build or service may be modified or withdrawn. Only the newest published release receives security updates before the first stable release. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, compatibility, maintenance, or individual support.
Warranty and liability. Official builds, documentation, and the website are provided “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. The GPL’s warranty and liability provisions govern the program, and the Disclaimer describes additional limitations for the official distribution and site. Nothing excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
These terms may be revised prospectively as LedgerPDF changes. The date above identifies the version currently published. Read the repository’s full terms document. Questions may be sent to info@ledgerlabs.co.
